Introducing Sculptor Belinda Read

Belinda is a sculptural ceramicist who creates illustrated and narrative 3D pieces. These pieces pose questions about complex human emotions through the lens of black comedy. Belinda’s process includes hand building, throwing, embossing and glaze technology to challenge the boundaries of traditional ceramics, engender conversations and explore societal stigmas. Belinda graduated with a MA Degree in 2024 in Ceramic's at Arts University Plymouth and the work we have on display her at canvas is the stunning work she presented in her final year.
