Favorite quote:
“What strengthens me is that painting is not a strange hobby. It is a fundamental human activity — despite all the errors, painting can in principle make manifest our best, most human and humane qualities.”
— Gerhard Richter

Artist Statement
My work explores the intersection of human emotion and the natural world, using a blend of mixed media, acrylic, to create layered, textured compositions.
I am drawn to the subtle narratives that emerge from the interplay of light, shadow, and texture. By integrating fragments of text, collage elements, and atmospheric landscapes, I aim to evoke a sense of memory and contemplation. My palette tends toward muted, earthy tones, which reinforce the meditative quality of the scenes and invite viewers to pause and reflect.
Through this body of work, I seek to convey the complexity of identity and the solace found in nature. Each piece is an invitation to consider the stories that reside beneath the surface—both in ourselves and in the world around us. My process is intuitive, allowing for moments of discovery as materials and imagery converge, resulting in works that balance serenity with emotional depth.
