Bio
Clare is a full time Landscape artist working from her studio in the heart of the beautiful Tamar Valley in Cornwall. The richness of impressionism has been an inspiration throughout her life, which is interpreted through a unique sculptural process involving a method of working with oils and only a small painting knife. Each painting is heavily researched on site, capturing the ambience and composition that invites the audience to step into each painting. Clare is drawn to scenes of rich vegetation and bodies of water. Working with these elements the complexity of light, colour and texture are all artistically explored. Having exhibited extensively for many years from Pall Mall to Cornwall Clare has been fortunate to win awards as well as having an international client base.
